After many long years of Liberal government in Canada, the ballots have been cast in favour of change. The mud has been slung and has begun to settle. Stephen Harper has taken the con to set a new heading. Paul Martin has announced his intention to step down as the leader of the national Liberal party. Whether the new minority government will find enough support in the Caucus to make good on their promises remains to be seen. In the meantime we Canadians hope that it will be at least a couple years of good government before we take to the polls again.
