Having done videos for 4 of my six songs, it seems like a natural progression to move onto doing the last 2 songs as well. In fact, that is my intention. I had to make a pit stop in between, however, and create a new video for "When I'm Free".
The original video I did for this song was on my Sony DSCS50 Digital Camera. The camera only does short clips and in relatively poor quality, thus the change to the Sony DCR-DVD203 "HandyCam". Since 3/4 videos were in widescreen format and shot at good TV quality, I decided to go back and film "When I'm Free" afresh.
I've simplified the video this time around. There's still some of the old footage, but now it's used in a way that looks good on a big screen TV. It's done in a very similar concept, however, this time around I've spent a lot more time working out the colors and the lighting/contrast levels. Hopefully the results will justify the efforts. The suprise ending makes all the difference, right?
